From childhood to old age: a richer character editor
Supporters
Hi folks!
In our article about Helena Richards, we talked about how creating her led us to add a hairstyle, glasses, hoop earrings… and put wheelchair movement back at the heart of our work.
Since then, the list has grown a little longer :D
Alongside our work on movement, we’ve continued improving the character editor. And once you start working on faces, it doesn’t take long to find something else to improve: a chin you’d like to bring forward a little, makeup that’s missing something, a beard that looks too uniform… or simply the urge to create characters who aren’t all the same age!
This week, we’re taking you on a tour of our work-in-progress editor. On the agenda: helping our characters grow up, adding a few years, giving them a makeover, and talking about some of the little tricks behind it all.
