New Trailer, New Website: VirtualSociety Gets a Fresh Look!
Hi everyone!
VirtualSociety has changed a lot over the past few months. The problem was that our previous trailer and website no longer really showed the game we are building.
Today, we’re changing that with two big updates: a new gameplay trailer and a completely redesigned website!
A trailer showing the heart of the game
For this new video, we wanted to get straight to the point and show what you will actually be able to do in VirtualSociety.
Build a place, create its residents, design their interactions, then turn all of it into a world you can explore alone or with other players.
The trailer brings together the building tools, character creation, interactions and several ways to bring your worlds to life.
VirtualSociety is still in development, and a lot will continue to change, but this trailer is now the best way to discover where we want to take the project.
A clearer, livelier website that feels closer to the game
We also completely redesigned the website. The goal was simple: anyone discovering VirtualSociety should understand within a few seconds what they will be able to create.
The new homepage puts gameplay front and center, explains building, residents and interactions more clearly, and makes it easier to reach the features, our story, the roadmap and the devblog.
The website also uses the Joy visual identity, with a clearer, warmer interface designed to work better on both desktop and mobile.
You’re actually exploring it right now!
A new starting point
This trailer and website are not the finish line. More than anything, they give us a clearer foundation for showing you the rest of development, one feature at a time.
Building, customization, interactions, stories… we still have so much to share.
So tell us: what kind of world would you create first in VirtualSociety?
And if you like the project, adding VirtualSociety to your Steam wishlist and sharing the trailer with others is still one of the best ways to support us.
See you soon!
Nico
