VirtualSociety joins forces with Hope Valley AI for healthcare

Salut l'équipe !

This week, we have some big news! We have collaborated with Hope Valley AI, a startup based in La Rochelle and also part of the Inria Startup Studio program. Together, we have designed a virtual reality demonstrator focused on the prevention and early detection of breast cancer!

Hope Valley AI and Cats & Foxes (our studio) share a common commitment to ultra-personalizing user experiences through gamification and Trustworthy Conversational AI to encourage as many people as possible to take positive and proactive measures to maintain their physical and mental health.

By combining Hope Valley AI's expertise in AI-assisted breast cancer screening of the future with our skills in gamification and creating virtual experiences, we are proud to present the HOPE ROSE virtual reality demonstrator at Vivatech 2024. This innovative solution reflects our excellent collaboration and demonstrates the potential of multi-scale collaborative technological deployment to improve prevention, healthcare, and well-being through an integrated immersive and educational approach. With Hope Valley AI, we can thus amplify the positive societal impact of our respective technological solutions by combining our strengths for the benefit of ultra-personalized preventive education and physical and mental health.

Hope Valley AI (www.hopevalley.ai) is a CEA-INRIA-University Paris-Saclay spin-off, born from over 12 years of Nuclear R&D, specializing in Multimodal Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Multi-scale Risk Engineering. It develops La MAMMOPE, an intelligent modular medical device for non-ionizing multimodal breast imaging, which allows the prediction and detection of early weak signals of breast abnormalities, precursors to the incubation of future breast cancers, from one's Smartphone (www.mammope.com).

For this demonstrator, we used the bathroom designed by Mélissa for VirtualSociety, to which we added Rose, the avatar of Hope Valley AI!

Come see Hope Valley AI at Vivatech to test it!

Game design and dark patterns: where is the boundary?

Game design and dark patterns: where is the boundary?

A dark pattern is a design element intended to deceive and manipulate a user against their interest. In our daily lives, we encounter them in the form of unsubscribing processes with too many steps..
