Meet Clélie, Mélissa and Chloé

Hi! For International Women's Day, we've chosen to prepare a short post about the three women in the team!

What do you do in the team?

Clélie: I'm in charge of the game design. It primarily involves designing the game's features, how they are presented, and how they interact with each other.

Mélissa: I handle the Art Direction and 3D production of VirtualSociety.

Chloé: I am a graphic designer and animator, I am currently working on the VirtualSociety's UI, as well as illustrations and 2D animations. I will also be responsible for the 3D animations of the characters when the time comes!

What is your favorite genre of video game?

Clélie: First-person exploration games, whether with combat or puzzles, as long as it's not horror.

Mélissa: I really enjoy survival and exploration games. I've completed Subnautica four times without ever getting tired of it.

Chloé: I love cozy games! I think these are the games on which I spend the most time and have the most fun!"

Why did you choose to work in video games?

Clélie: It is one of the freest mediums, both artistically and technically.

Mélissa: I chose video games because I appreciate the player's ability to enter a story or a new world and interact with it. I've been playing video games since I was little, so I wanted to create my own universes.

Chloé: Initially, I leaned more towards the world of animated cinema, but the realm of video games has always interested me as well, being a big fan of video games myself.

What are you currently playing?

Clélie: I have spent a lot of hours on Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, but I'm stuck at Blackwater's boss, so I took a break with Call of the Sea.

Mélissa: I'm playing Rocket League. Well, at least I'm trying XD.

Chloé: Right now, I'm playing City Skylines 2!

What inspires you in your work?

Clélie: The games I play, but also the tools and experimental studies I designed for my thesis.

Mélissa: I enjoy creating environments with music. For crafting a cozy space, I listen to cozy music. I find it very motivating and inspiring.

Chloé: I love seeing what other artists are doing on Pinterest; I can spend hours doing graphic research without ever getting bored!
